astrid_glaser“These meetings are very important for an open exchange between academia and industry. To bring new therapeutical options to the patient synergies and cooperations between basic researchers, clinicians and industry should be used.”

Olivier ARNAUD

Olivier Arnaud“We need to consult the patients and involve them more to accomplish a translational and more open innovation.”

Kerstin BRISMAR

Kerstin BRISMAR

Kerstin Brismar“I think we need to sit down in small groups, like in round table groups. We need to discuss and exchange ideas and we need the opportunity to explain our questions. The industry and academia don’t speak the same language.”

Brigitte KRENN

Brigitte KRENN

German Center for Diabetes Research

Astrid Glaser“We need more meetings like this where we can talk to each other from different perspectives. There is an increase of people from industry going to academia and then back to industry. This increases the understanding of the different fields.”
